Oh Lovers of Allah
Love is denomination and religion to me
My eyes have seen the face of Beloved
Mourning is as a wedding to me

I cannot say you or I
Me or mine
I can’t discern between a servant and a sultan
Those who hear me speak are perplexed

Since I have reached the love of the Beloved
This world and the hereafter are the same to me
If you ask of the beginning and eternity
They are as yesterday and tomorrow to me

From now on there is no sadness for me
My heart is content
Because this invitation was from Hakk
There can be no denial

Let me not part from Your love
Let me not leave Your presence
If I leave this existence
Let me find myself in You

The Beloved sent me
into the world
I came and saw, but went on looking for You
As he who loves You would not wish to stay here

He promised His servants:
you will see Me tomorrow
That day they are hoping for
is today for me

For Yunus his religion is You
that is, his whole faith is You
Love has no today and no tomorrow
Love is my only occupation from now on
