Ehl-i mahşer dest-i Hayder'den içerken Kevser'i
Sen susuzlukla Şehîd-i Kerbelâ'sın yâ Huseyn

Kıl şefaat Ârif'e ceddin Muhammed aşkına
Arsa-i mahşerde makbul-ür-recâsın yâ Huseyn

You are the light in the eye of Resulallah, Oh Husayn
You are radiance in the Lion of Allah's eye, Oh Husayn

You are the beloved of the benevolent Fatima
You are of Hd. Ali's nobility, under the Prophet's Cloak, Oh Husayn

The one who strikes you with a rose petal cannot expect forgiveness
You are the rosebud in the garden of Mustafa, Oh Husayn

Though the people will quench their thirst with Kawthar on the last day
You are the thirsty martyr of Kerbala, Oh Husayn

Intercede for Arif, for the love of Muhammed
On the day of the judgment, your appeals are accepted, Oh Husayn
